Commitment to Sustainability
For over a century Chicago Faucets has been committed to engineering faucets that make a difference in the lives of humanity. Chicago Faucets has also been dedicated to designing 0.35 GPM and 0.50 faucets that are sustainable and meet the highest levels of water savings. Chicago Faucets has engineered sustainable faucets that meet the USGBC LEED Program, CalGreen, EPA WaterSense and other criteria for water conservation.
Superior Sustainability with Savings in Energy Too!
In addition to 0.35 GPM water savings, Chicago Faucets offers some of these ultra low GPM faucets with Long Term Power Suppy (LTPS) or Self Sustainable Power Supply (SSPS). Two of these models are the Hytronic Faucets and the E-Tronic 80 Faucets. Long Term Power System (LTPS), a maintenance-free power will last at least 15 years with normal use. LTPS includes lithium power cell with smart technology that limits self discharge. Self-Sustaining Power System (SSPS) uses the flow of water to generate power for the faucet. No batteries or wiring required. Many of the touchless low flow faucets also offer metering by programming run time with the Commander control device.
Chicago Faucets Operates Sustainably!
Chicago Faucets is committed to reducing its environmental impact by monitoring electricity, natural gas, water and the amount of waste going to landfill. In our Milwaukee foundry alone, we have reduced the amount of landfill waste by 60% on an annual basis. An amazing 98% of our scrap brass is recycled -- internally we recycle more than 20 tons per year and also recycle much more with outside partners.
